Track 2 of 10 from new DIY series The Forest and the Trees. Future-folk for a changing world. A song a month(-ish) from my little room over the garage.

This song is a climate change fable set In the Bosnian town of Visegrad, where there's a beautiful Ottoman-era stone bridge over the Drina River. In the center there's a small sitting area called the kapija, where people can meet friends, chat, smoke, hang out. It's also where they dumped bodies into the river below during the Bosnian War. As those waters begin to rise, bringing new cataclysm, one young man is only thinking about a loved one he lost.
